About the Film:
Spencer Olham (Gary Sinise) is a weapons designer suspected of being an alien robotic assassin. In 2079, Earth is at war with an alien planet, and its domed-cities are closely monitored by the Earth Security Agency. When an Earth Security Agent (Vincent D'Onofrio) begins chasing Olham, the trust between Olham and his wife (Madeleine Stowe) begins to unravel, leading to the films twist ending.

About the Film:
After a horrifying decade of war, scientists on a distant mining planet create the perfect weapon: a race of killing machines known as Screamers. Although their original purpose was to hunt and destroy enemy life forms, without human guidance the machines develop a new mission to destroy all life. Col. Hendricksson (Peter Weller), betrayed by politics and digusted by the horrors of war, decides to negotiate for peace on his own. But he and small band of soliders must cross a wasteland controlled by the machines in order to do so.

About the Film:
The narrator of the film is an odd character who records meaningless dialogs, trivia and bizarre musings regarding human behavior in a notebook. He is then forced to move in with his equally strange sister and her "reasonably normal" husband when his house burns. The husband is then forced to live with the bewildering antics of his brother-in-law and wife.
